WHAT IS THIS?
This is Public Transport Magazine, the only magazine exclusive to the New York City Subway. It’s a free zine and its contributors are comedians, TV writers, cartoonists, illustrators, filmmakers, and subway riders.
PTM has been featured in New York Magazine’s “Reasons To Love New York” where they said PTM is “obviously, losing money”. The New York Post profiled the fourth PTM issue “devoted to filth in all its forms”. The latest issue and its’ launch party was covered by WNYC on Morning Edition with some audio of the non-chaotic Staten Island Ferry show.
